Healthcare Equality Partners was founded by Vincent Hodges, a Consultant and Interim Manager, and Jennifer Hoskins, a Learning and Development Specialist.

We wanted to specialise in working for the NHS because we know, from experience, that it is a uniquely challenging environment in which to practice Equality, Diversity and Human Rights.  Equality of access to appropriate care can literally be a life or death issue, yet clinical need can sometimes rightly override diversity considerations.

At Healthcare Equality Partners, we select our consultants carefully, all are experienced in the field of Equality and Diversity and the majority have already worked within the NHS.  We are building a team of enthusiastic, highly competent professionals.

As specialists, we understand the terrain, what the pitfalls may be and what are likely to be the keys to success, but that doesn't mean we adopt a one-size-fits-all approach.  We know that Primary Care Trusts have different issues to Acute Trusts, that a different patient population will be found in a city to that in a rural location, and that your organisation has unique characteristics likely to pose some specific challenges.  That is why we will work hard to understand your needs and offer you a tailor-made, fit for purpose solution at a realistic price.
